On June 6th, to celebrate the 39th anniversary of Zhejiang Shuangyang Group, the company's Party branch and labor union jointly organized the "Let Contribution Become a Habit, Let Warmth Become Strength – Passionate Shuangyang Employees' Blood Donation Drive." More than 40 employees who signed up to donate blood came to the Fuhai Town Party and Mass Service Center to donate blood and show their love.

Party Building Leads to Collective Strength, Party Members Set the Benchmark
In this public welfare activity jointly organized by the Group's Party branch and labor union, the Party member vanguard team once again became the backbone.

Young Party members Chen Ke and Feng Zefeng not only took the lead in donating blood for many consecutive years, but also actively mobilized workshop employees to expand the volunteer team, vividly demonstrating the red power of "Party building leading labor union building, and Party members setting an example."

Sister Liu Chunlan from the Plug Workshop donated blood for the seventh time, and Chen Junjie, the director of the Vulcanization Workshop, used his personal experience of "blood donation does not harm health" to encourage more people to join.
Young Party member and director of the Steel Pipe Workshop, Feng Zefeng, is a sports enthusiast and a veteran blood donor! Sister Liu Chunlan, who donated blood for the seventh time.

“I am Zhao Yunyun from the Plug Workshop. During my time working at Shuangyang, my family experienced many changes, and I received a lot of help from Shuangyang, my leaders, and colleagues, which allowed me to regain confidence in life. I want to repay the company and society with my blood!”

Ye Kefeng, the deputy director of the Rubber Mixing Workshop and an active Party member, is dedicated to his work, diligent, and hardworking, without any complaints. When the company's Rubber Mixing Workshop needed personnel for reform and innovation, he obeyed the company's personnel adjustments and took on the heavy responsibility.

Wang Hongfen, whom workshop director Chen Ke calls a "dedicated blood donor," participates in every blood donation drive without fail.

“We haven't had much education, and we're not very articulate, but the company promotes blood donation every year, and we know that donating blood doesn't harm our health and can save lives, so we also want to join the ranks of those giving back to the community!”  Wang Mi and Wang Hongfen, two older women from the second plug workshop with eight years of service, said simply.

39 Years of Unwavering Commitment: Public Welfare Becomes Part of the Company's DNA
Shuangyang's "Enthusiastic Shuangyang Employees' Voluntary Blood Donation Activity" was established as a corporate social responsibility activity in 2000.  As early as 2003, it received the advanced collective award for voluntary blood donation in Ningbo City. For more than 20 years, the company has consistently integrated the spirit of public welfare into its corporate culture, shaping the core values ​​of Shuangyang. From leaders and managers to frontline employees, from "veteran blood donors" to young people trying it for the first time, the event site features both "model role models" who have donated blood more than 10 times and "new blood" who overcame their nervousness to donate for the first time. Behind each bag of blood is Shuangyang people's commitment to the principle of "caring for life and serving society." As the employees said: "Celebrating the company's birthday with blood donation makes me especially proud as a Shuangyang employee!"

In the blood donation event in May 2019, staff members promoted knowledge about hematopoietic stem cell donation to Shi Lifeng.

Transmitting Strength Through Warmth, Practicing Mission Through Action
Luo Yuanyuan, Secretary of the Shuangyang Group Party Branch, stated that the employee voluntary blood donation activity is Shuangyang's social responsibility as a "two-new" Party organization – using Party building to unite employees and transform charitable enthusiasm into a long-term, organized positive energy transmission. Social responsibility is an important dimension of enterprise development. From voluntary blood donation to volunteer services, supporting new rural construction, charitable donations, and poverty alleviation, Shuangyang people have always adhered to the simple belief of "making contribution a habit." This event once again demonstrated the social responsibility of the "Two New" Party organizations – leveraging Party building to unite employees and transform philanthropic enthusiasm into a long-term, organized positive force.

In June 2023, even with masks still required, Chen Ke still participated in blood donation.

In the April 2012 blood donation event, Yu Yiye from the purchasing department encouraged his family member (right) to donate blood together. On the left is Zhan Jianwei, the warehouse director (who participated in every blood donation until his blood no longer met the donation standards).

In the April 2008 blood donation event, Wang Shaoyang (right) was still a frontline employee. Due to his outstanding performance in all aspects, he was cultivated to become a Party member and promoted to a management position. He won the first Shuangyang Management Innovation Award, and his personal growth story, reflecting his mutual commitment with the company, was published twice in the Zhejiang Workers' Daily.

The purchasing department has always been a role model for other departments in every blood donation event, and these two individuals are particularly dedicated blood donors!

Embarking on a New Journey, Responsibility Reaffirmed
Standing at the new starting point of its 39th anniversary, Shuangyang Group will continue to deepen the "Party Building + Public Welfare" model, expanding into areas such as medical assistance, educational support, rural revitalization, and poverty alleviation. As the Party flag fluttering at the event site symbolizes: the value of a company lies not only in its economic contributions but also in how it uses the red engine of the Party to drive social responsibility, allowing warmth to become a spiritual force that illuminates the times.
