TS-MD202 is Soyang’s IP44 splash-proof 24-hour mechanical plug timer with EU Schuko standard. It comes with two hinged protective lids: one for the socket outlet and a transparent cover for the timing dial. Push the tabs on rotary wheel to set repeating daily automatic ON/OFF schedules. Battery-free mechanical design, suitable for sheltered outdoor & garden applications.

1. IP44 means splash-resistant only. NOT waterproof for direct heavy rain or submersion. Must be installed under eaves or sheltered outdoor areas.
2. Do not exceed maximum load of 3680W. Check appliance power rating before connection.
3. No backup battery. If mains supply fails, timer dial stops. Reset the current time once power is restored.
4. Do not daisy-chain timers. Do not plug one timer into another timer socket.
5. Keep both protective covers closed during outdoor operation to maintain IP44 rating.
6. Unplug before cleaning. Wipe casing with dry cloth; do not spray water directly onto the timer.
7. No built-in overcurrent protection. Unplug at once if the connected appliance malfunctions.
Clean only with dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use alcohol, solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Check covers, plug and housing regularly. Stop using the timer if cracks or seal damage are found.
Q: Will it keep time during a power outage?
A: No. It runs purely on mains power. The dial stops when power cuts out, manual time reset is needed after power comes back.
Q: Can I leave it exposed fully open to rain?
A: No. IP44 protects against splashes, not continuous heavy rainfall. It must be used in sheltered outdoor space.
Q: What are the two lids for?
A: One hinged cover seals the Schuko socket, the transparent cover shields the timer dial. Both must stay shut to preserve splash-proof performance.
