The twin Ni-MH batteries degrade with age. Energy logs and timer settings will clear if batteries fully drain after long unplugged storage. Do not take apart. Unauthorized disassembly causes electric shock danger and invalidates certification. No user-serviceable components. Cease use once faulty.
Q: Will energy records and timer settings be lost after power outage?
A: Dual rechargeable batteries retain time, schedules and consumption data for short blackouts. If left unplugged for a very long time until batteries drain completely, all stored data resets.
Q: What is RND random mode?
A: Randomly switches power ON/OFF in your preset window. Lights turn on intermittently to make the house look occupied when you go on vacation.
Q: Can I test high-power space heaters?
A: Total power cannot exceed 3680W. For inductive motor loads, confirm rated current is within specification.
Q: LCD screen blank?
A: Plug into mains power to recharge internal batteries. If display remains off after charging, the socket is defective. Stop using it.
