TS-MD4-D is Soyang mechanical plug-in timer with German Schuko plug, IP44 splash-proof rating, designed for outdoor & garden use. It adopts 24-hour mechanical dial timer, simple to set, no battery required. Just plug and play for automatic ON/OFF control of garden lights, fountains, pumps and holiday decorations.

1. 24-hour mechanical timer dial. Set switching times by pulling tabs on the rotary dial. No programming, no backup battery. Time keeps running as long as mains power is connected.

1. IP44 means splash-proof only. Do NOT submerge in water. Do not expose directly to heavy rain without shelter. Use it under eaves or covered outdoor space.
2. Do not exceed max load of 3680W. Check appliance power rating before plugging in.
3. Do not daisy-chain timers. Never connect one timer into another timer socket.
4. Unplug the timer before cleaning. Wipe housing only, do not spray water directly onto the unit.
5. The timer has no battery. If mains power cuts off, the internal clock stops. After power recovery, you need to reset the current time.
6. This timer has no overcurrent or short-circuit protection. If the connected appliance is faulty, disconnect power immediately.
Clean only with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol or abrasive cleaners.
Check the plug and housing regularly for cracks. Stop using the timer if casing, plug or socket gets damaged.
Q: Does it keep time during power outages?
A: No. It is purely mechanical mains-powered. When power fails, the dial stops rotating. Once power returns, reset the clock time.
Q: Can I leave it outside in the open rain?
A: No. IP44 protects against splashing water, but it cannot withstand heavy continuous rain. It must be installed under shelter.
Q: Can I connect multiple timers together?
A: No. Marked “Do not plug one timer behind another”. Daisy-chaining creates overheating and fire risk.
Q: Can it run a big water pump?
A: Max load 3680W. Check pump wattage. Motor loads have inrush current; stay well below the rated maximum.
