1. IP44 = splash-proof only. Not submersible. Do not expose to continuous heavy rain without shelter. Use under eaves or covered outdoor space.
2. Do not exceed maximum load of 3680W. Check appliance power rating before connection.
3. No backup battery. If mains power cuts off, timer dial stops rotating. Reset the current time after power restoration.
4. Do not daisy-chain timers. Never plug one timer into another timer socket.
5. Unplug before cleaning. Wipe casing with dry cloth. Do not spray water directly on the unit.
6. No built-in overcurrent protection. Disconnect power immediately if the connected appliance malfunctions.
Clean only with dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use alcohol, solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Check housing, plug and cover regularly. Stop using the timer if cracks or damage appear.
Q: Does it keep timing during power outage?
A: No. It runs purely from mains supply. When power fails, the dial stops. Reset time manually once power returns.
Q: Can I leave it fully exposed in open rain?
A: No. IP44 defends against splashes, but not heavy downpour. Must be installed under cover.
Q: Is the transparent lid removable?
A: It is a hinged flip cover, not designed to be taken off completely. Keep it closed when operating outdoors for splash protection.
